Create the link
- Add the location first.
Open Locations in the owner portal. Confirm its name and address.
- Open Ticket links.
Select the location and add a label such as “August tenant board” or “Ward B QR.”
- Choose expiration and request limit.
Use the shortest practical period. A monthly replacement works well for shared boards or group chats.
- Generate and copy.
Share the direct link or download/print its QR code.
What the reporter sees
The public form asks for the issue, contact details needed for follow-up, and available evidence. After submission, it displays a reference code and emails a copy when an address is provided. The reporter can use that reference to check status without an app account.
Inside Workdesk, the request becomes a normal ticket for assignment, field work, notes, costs, completion, and approval.
Expire, replace, or revoke
- Expired or revoked links cannot create new requests.
- Existing tickets remain in the workspace after their source link expires.
- Replace printed QR codes on a regular schedule.
- Use the request count to identify unexpectedly broad sharing.
Short expiration reduces the value of a link retained by someone who no longer belongs at the location.
