About the product
Built from direct experience supporting maintenance across many locations, where the workload was real but the record was scattered.
For small maintenance teams carrying a workload much larger than their headcount.
Structure without the industrial overhead.
Why it exists
Reports were already arriving through messages, calls, photographs, and conversations. The hard part was keeping every request visible, knowing who had taken responsibility, and preserving what happened after the visit.
New messages could bury old work. Evidence could exist without remaining connected to the problem. A technician might remember the repair while the organization itself had no dependable history.
Workdesk was built around the whole practical loop: report, assignment, follow-up, evidence, completion, approval, and retrieval.
The space between
Messaging apps are fast and familiar, but they are not a durable queue or a service history. Full CMMS and field-service platforms can be powerful, but often assume industrial processes, dedicated administrators, or a business built around selling service.
Workdesk is for organizations where maintenance is essential to the business, but is not the business itself.
Who it is for
See practical examples for multi-location teams, property management, healthcare facilities, offices, and other internal maintenance groups.
Why it costs less
Focused scopeWorkdesk solves maintenance coordination and memory without pretending to be an industrial ERP, procurement suite, or payroll system.
No per-seat taxAdding a store manager, technician, supervisor, location, or ordinary ticket does not create a new subscription charge.
Storage-based plansPhotos, documents, backups, synchronization, and hosted services create ongoing costs. Plan levels follow that shared storage burden.
No manufactured frictionEssential workflow features are not removed from lower plans to force an upgrade. The longer principle behind this is Software as a Fact.
What trust means here
Workdesk is paid software, not a behavioral profile disguised as a free tool.
Arrival checks are event-based and configurable. Continuous employee tracking is not the product.
Owners can export workspace records. Ending a subscription should not erase the organization's memory.
Public testing is refining Workdesk with the people who report, supervise, and perform the work.
A dependable memory for the operation
