In the next few minutes, you'll join your team's Workdesk and learn how to report one useful ticket. A ticket keeps a problem, its updates, and the people responsible in one place. Have your business invitation ready, and pause whenever you need to follow along.

On your Android phone, open the installation link your business sent you. Check that it is On it! Workdesk, install it, and open the app. If you already have it, continue there. If installation is unavailable, ask your coordinator for the correct access instructions.

Sign in with your own email. If the invitation names an email address, use that same address. Enter the newest verification code from your email in the app. Keep that code private. If you don't receive it, check the address and spam folder before requesting another.

Open the business invitation. If the app asks for an invite, paste the link or enter the short code you received. Review the workspace and your profile before joining. You're joining your employer's workspace, not creating a separate one. If the invitation has expired, ask for a replacement.

Check the workspace name, then open New ticket and choose where the problem is happening. A location is your branch, store, or work site. If the right location is missing, ask your coordinator to check your access. Don't choose a different location just to continue.

Use a short title, such as Leaking tap in staff kitchen. Explain what happens, where exactly, and how it affects work. Choose the available category and priority that fit. For practice, use only a test ticket agreed with your coordinator. For immediate danger, follow your workplace emergency procedure first.

Add a clear photo if it helps explain the problem. Use the camera or choose an existing image, then check what you attached. Keep people, passwords, and private documents out of the photo. Check the location and description once more before submitting.

Submit once. Open the ticket and confirm its title, location, and status. If a change is waiting for connection, restore your connection and synchronize; don't create the same ticket again. Your first report is ready when you can find it and confirm it has synchronized.

Keep later details in this same ticket so the next person has the full story. Your available actions depend on your role and the ticket's state. If a button is missing or the workspace is read-only, ask your coordinator to check access instead of creating another account. Next, choose the short guide for your role.

Prefer written steps?

  1. Open the installation link from your business. Install On it! Workdesk and open it. Already installed? Continue in the app.
  2. Sign in with your own email, matching the invitation. Enter the newest emailed verification code in the app. Keep it private.
  3. Open the invitation or paste its link / short code when asked. Check the workspace and profile before joining; do not create a separate workspace.
  4. Check the workspace. Open New ticket and choose the correct branch, store or work site.
  5. Write a useful title and describe the problem, exact place and impact. Choose the appropriate available category and priority. Add a relevant photo if helpful.
  6. Check the details and submit once. Find the ticket, verify its title, location and status, and confirm synchronization. Keep later updates in the same record.
Practice deliberately

Use only a clearly labeled test ticket agreed with your coordinator. Do not create duplicate reports or mark unperformed work complete. For immediate danger, follow your workplace emergency procedure first.

2. Watch only the guide that matches your work

Not sure of your role? Ask your coordinator. Buttons depend on your access and the ticket’s state.

I report problems0:23 · 3:47 core + this guide

If you report problems, your next job is to follow this ticket. Read its status and updates, and add any requested information where your role allows. Don't create another report for the same unfinished problem. You are ready when you can find your ticket and know whom to contact if you need help.

I perform the work0:26 · 3:50 core + this guide

If you perform the work, open the ticket assigned to you. Read the location, problem, and available evidence before acting. Check access instructions before travelling, and record each step when it actually happens. Don't mark work complete just to finish this lesson. Your first milestone is finding your assignment and understanding the next action.

I coordinate work0:26 · 3:50 core + this guide

If you coordinate work, open the new report, check its location and details, and assign the right available technician when your role permits. Confirm that the assignee appears on the ticket. Ask for missing information within the existing record. Your first milestone is one clear assignment, not closing a job that hasn't happened.

Your first-day finish line

If you get stuck

No installation link or expired invitation

Ask your coordinator for the correct link or a new invitation.

Code does not arrive

Check the email address and spam folder, then request a new code if needed. Never send the code to support.

Wrong location, missing button or read-only workspace

Ask the coordinator to check the workspace, role and access. Do not choose another location or create another account just to continue.

An update is waiting to synchronize

Restore the connection and check synchronization before retrying. Do not create the same ticket again.

Before sharing this course, confirm that workspace access is active, locations are ready, and each employee has the intended role and invitation. Choose who receives and assigns new reports. If you want a practice exercise, designate one clearly labelled test ticket and tell the team how to use it. Send the installation link, invitation, course, and coordinator's contact together.

About the demonstration

Recorded with Android 0.18.1 in fictional owner workspaces. Installation and joining are instruction cards, not recordings of a fresh install or employee invitation acceptance. Role guides use an owner demonstration; your controls may differ. No photo attachment or offline failure is claimed. Use your business’s installation instructions; Google Play availability of this build has not been confirmed.
